March 26, 2010 - Croatian yacht charter company Adriatic Challenge announces the Round Palagruza Cannonball 2010 sailing regatta.
Under the organization of Yacht Club Biograd and Nautic Cub Sail Attack, an International One Design Regatta will be held on the 5th April 2010 to the 9th April 2010 in Biograd, Croatia on the Biograd-Dugi Otok-Vis/Bisevo-Palagruza- Mljet -Korcula-Hvar -Mulo-Biograd route.
Boat and yacht types open to the True one design class race include 19 Bavaria 42 match, with spinnaker and genaker and 10 Dufour 44 performance with spinnaker and 160 percent genoa.
The event will be a 380 nm nonstop "Matchrace" with a mixture of nautical and offshore regatta. Over 220 sailors will be competing for the top Sailing Croatia and Yacht Charter Croatia title. This is definitely a must for adrenaline junkies and professional sailors.
All competitors will enjoy professional fleet tracking LIVE via the Internet, SafetyTeam with Emergency Doctor, Paramedics, Diver and Professional Radio Operator and Sea Help assistance during the race to ensure total peace of mind and safety for all competitors.
Spokesperson Mischa Strobl says that this year's new class includes International Offshore Class 40 with Austrian Volvo Ocean Race-Skipper Andreas Hanakamp.
